Obituary for Andrew James "Butch" Tridento Sr.
Andrew (Uncle B.) James Tridento, Sr., 72, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Born March 13, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy Josephine (Tenalio) Tridento.
Andrew retired from the US Army as a First Sergeant. He received many metals and a purple heart. He was also a ROTC & boxing instructor for the Army. After retirement he worked for the US Postal Service as a window clerk. He was of Catholic faith.
He is survived by three sisters, Anna Sachs and husband, Harry of Philadelphia, PA. Mary McCleney of Wichita Falls, TX and Lucy Ann Bersani of Martinsburg, WV, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Areeratana (Rokart) Tridento; one son, Andrew J. Tridento, Jr.; one brother, Joseph Tridento.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open to receive family and friends only from the hours of 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2020 with Father Aloysius Boh officiating. Interment prayers and military honors will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
