Obituary for Bonnie Ellen Murphy (Lawrence)
Bonnie Ellen Murphy, 82, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020.
Born October 12, 1937 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Lawrence and Nora Jenkins Lawrence.
She was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Assembly of God.
She is survived by three sons, Terry Murphy of Martinsburg, Larry Murphy of Martinsburg and Michael D. Murphy of Hedgesville; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and two sisters, Kay Hartnett and Sherry Saladini.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harrison Murphy, Jr. one daughter, Paula D. Murphy and one sister, Paula Joann Porturica.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2020. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM with Pastor Russell Barrett officiating. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
