Obituary for Daniel David Gargano

Daniel D. Gargano, 32, of Gerrardstown, beloved son of David P. and Francine G. Gargano passed away on September 29, 2020 into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Daniel was born on a gorgeous spring day, April 4, 1988 in Washington DC. He spent his early childhood in Bethesda, MD before the family moved to Gerrardstown. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Musselman High School. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, Inwood.

In addition to his parents, Daniel leaves behind his grandmother Lois Gargano, Bethesda, MD, a sister Michelle Springer, husband Richard Springer Jr., and favorite niece Tacoah, all of Gerrardstown. He also leaves behind a doting godfather, Tom Raveret of Glendale, WI and a very special friend, Kim Flanagan of Cumberland, MD, in addition to many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Daniel was predeceased by grandparents Frederick Gargano and Francis and Gladys Pickar and his Aunt Denise. May they warmly welcome him.

Daniel was a kind and gentle soul who would try to help anyone in need. He had a special fondness for kitty cats and was often called the cat whisperer. He loved his family and friends fiercely. He will be missed more than words can express.
