Obituary for Darlene Janet Carlile (Braithwaite)
Darlene Janet Carlile, 68, of Inwood, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2020.
Born June 6, 1952 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William N. Carlile and Janet U. Moore Braithwaite.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Inwood.
She is survived by one son, Aaron Bennett, II, (LaDona) of Gerrardstown; one daughter, Traci Bennett, (Ben Brown) of Inwood; seven grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, William Carlile; one sister, Terri Carlile Sheeks; and step-mother, Kathleen Carlile.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kerri Beth Bennett; and her step-father Howard Braithwaite
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Church Cemetery, Frederick Co., VA with Pastor Tony Pirrone officiating.
