Edith Virginia Clay, 86, of Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Born on September 8, 1933 in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles McDaniel and Mozell Johnson.
Edith was a member of the Kingdom Life Church.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Clay, Michael Clay and Robert Clay; one daughter, Shari Carr; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clay and one sister, Esther S. Page.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open to receive friends only from the hours of 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, August 14, 2020. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the chapel. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
