Obituary for Hilda Mae Breeden

Hilda Mae Breeden, 62, of Ranson, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the Jefferson Medical Center.

Born March 29, 1958, in Ranson, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Moles Brown and Edna Louise Bagent.

Hilda was of the Methodist faith and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She liked cooking and going to craft shows. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 3522. She was a housekeeper at the National Conservation Training Center.

She is survived by two sons: Richard “Ricky” Turner, Jr., and wife Lisa, of Ranson, and Thomas Breeden, and fiancé Holly, of Martinsburg; one brother, Thomas M. Brown, Jr., and wife Kay, of Okinawa, Japan; three sisters: Patty Madison, of Martinsburg, and Barbara Woodward and Pamela Brown, both of Ranson; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Turner; two brothers, Calvin and David Brown, and two sisters, Debra Mays and Kimberly Brown.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Floyd “Bucky” Chapman officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the Chapel.
