Obituary for Jacob Thomas "JT" Manuel
Jacob Thomas (JT) Manuel, age 41, of Martinsburg went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
Born February 9, 1979 in Woodstock, VA, he is the son of Sara Mathews (Manuel) Ring and his step-father Rodney L. Ring.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deana Stickley Manuel; one brother, Bradley Ring and his wife Jennifer, two sisters – Valerie Manuel Scullen and husband Daniel, and Elisa Ring. He has four nephews; three nieces; Deana’s parents (James and Cheryl Athey; and Dennis and Linda Stickley); as well as three brothers’-in-law, Dion Stickley, Dennis Stickley, Jr., and Bryan Foley.
JT loved his family, baseball, and Nascar. His laugh was contagious, and his big heart will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 12 noon, at Baker Heights Baptist Church, 580 Needy Road, Martinsburg, WV, with Pastor Raymond Bouchoc officiating. Family will receive friends for a viewing at 11am – one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a luncheon/reception immediately following the funeral at the church. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and Covid directives.
Interment will be at Bentonville Baptist Church Cemetery in Bentonville, VA.
