Obituary for JoAnn Marie Unger (Fowler)
JoAnn Marie Unger, 80, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born January 9, 1940 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Adrian D. and Geraldine Marie (Bloch) Fowler.
She was a member of Berkeley Place United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Unger, Jr. two sons, Gary W. and Brian L. Unger; one daughter, Kimberly Gordon; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Adrienne Kief.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Dale Fowler; and one sister, Betty Lou Martin.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the chapel with Pastor Lisa Franzen officiating.
Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
