Obituary for John Steven Blanchfield
John Steven Blanchfield, 75, of Berkeley Springs passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the VA Medical Center.
Born April 12, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late John Blanchfield and Glenva (Foster) Blanchfield.
John was a 27-year, Vietnam Vet in the US Army. He received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star of Valor plus more.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Theresa Louise (Hatin) Blanchfield; one son, Erik Steven Blanchfield and wife, Julia; two daughters, Vera Ann Blanchfield, and Cortney Bernadine Walker; five grandchildren; and one sister, Janie Curcio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Allen Blanchfield.
Service and interment are private.
