Obituary for Jonathan William DeHaven

Jonathan William DeHaven, aged 40, passed from this life on August 19, 2020. Mourning his loss is his Significant Other and Loved One, Mindy Rettinger, and her four children. Jonathan and Mindy discovered their love for one another in Ocean City, Md. in 2017 and they treasured returning there each summer to celebrate the anniversary of that precious discovery.

Also, in mourning is his father William " Bill " DeHaven, Jason DeHaven, Jonathan's only brother, Jason's sons, Gavin and Noah, and Jason's Significant Other and Loved One, Chrissy Dillman. He was also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins all of whom will miss him dearly.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Cloud DeHaven, who passed from this life on September 6, 2004 when Jonathan was 24 years old.

Jonathan was well liked, and his company enjoyed by many. He made friends without effort. If you knew Jonathan, you knew that " It's all good!! " He was an avid golfer and many of his friends played golf with him at the Woodbrier Golf Course at which place he was the club champion in 2010 and there won other titles in team play with cherished friends, and many there will remember him and mourn his loss. Jonathan's laugh was contagious and enduring, and his smile lit up a room. His death leaves a space in the lives of many which can never be filled.
