Obituary for Marsha Ann Mulligan (Meyer)
Marsha Ann Mulligan, 73, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2020 surrounded by family.
Born April 14, 1947 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Meyer and Evelyn (White) Meyer.
She was employed by First Data and had worked for the Journal in the circulation department for twelve years.
Marsha loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to travel, especially with her traveling companions Judy and Ilene and best friends Cindy Wilson and Eddie Johnson.
She is survived by her four sons, Christian "Chris" L. Mulligan and wife, Amanda, James "Jamie" D. Mulligan and wife, Dee; Scott D. Mulligan and wife, Loretta; and Brian E. Mulligan and wife, Jenna; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and sister, Janet Troyan, of Seward, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, and her brother, Edward C. Meyer.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Services and interment are private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
