Obituary for MaryLou Roberts Largent (Roberts)

MaryLou Roberts Largent, 71, of Martinsburg passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 surrounded by her family at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born January 1, 1949 in Berkeley County, WV she was the daughter of the late Floyd Roberts and Gladys Mason Roberts.

She was a faithful member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church where she continued worshipping even through the on-line services. She was a devoted family woman who pushed everyone to achieve the best in everything. MaryLou impacted everyone’s life that she interacted with.

MaryLou served proudly with the Baker Heights Volunteer Fire Department since 1987. Currently she was serving as President, previously served as Rescue Chief, Secretary, Safety Officer & Training Coordinator, CPR Coordinator RESA, EMT Instructor, and several other emergency services.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Charles “Charlie” David Largent; one son, Martin “Marty” Roberts and wife, Carina; one daughter, Stephanie Mongan and husband, Jody; six grandchildren, Cory (Brittney), Courtney, and Kyle Roberts, Bryce Morris, Gabby Mongan, and Heaven Mongan; great-granddaughter, Kinlee Roberts; one brother, Ronnie Viands; niece, Bridgett Garner; and great-niece Jayden.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Faye M. Roberts.

A Celebration of Life service will be held and announced after the first of the year.
