Obituary for Naomi Jean Amoruso (Taylor)

Naomi Jean (Taylor) Amoruso, 76, of Martinsburg passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born June 25, 1944, in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Evan Taylor and Mary (Nagy) Earl.

Naomi previously worked for a government contractor as a Quality Control Inspector. She loved her grandchildren; she took them to the beach and hikes. She loved her dogs Max and Sid. She was a family person, with a good sense of humor, and fun to be around.

She is survived by her son, Rob Amoruso and wife Colleen; two grandchildren, Matthew, and Lauren; brother, Bucky Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Shifflett; and late ex-husband, Sonny Amoruso.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

My dearest friend Naomi Jean Amoruso you left me with such great memories of you , I will miss you so much You will never be forgotten . You were one of the best employees under my supervision at E-Systems/Raytheon. I so much enjoyed working with you. We had such great times. Will always remember your since of humor. You had a special way of putting a smile on everyone's face that you came in contact with.everyone loved you. You will always be in my heart. But God needed you to come home. But we will see each other again in Heaven. May God Bless You and May you Rest In Peace.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Jeanne. She was a lovely person and a great friend. My husband and I both worked with her at E-Systems/Raytheon in Falls Church. Although it has been a while since we have seen her, we hold her in the highest esteem and mourn her passing.
