Obituary for Roger Elwood Robertson
Roger Elwood Robertson, 76, of Hedgesville, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his residence.
Born August 12, 1944 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Roy Elijah and Mary Margaret Rockwell Robertson.
He is survived by his companion of 50 years, Beverly Markley; two children Roger Lee and Melissa Rochell Robertson; three brothers, Charlie A. and wife Charlene, Curtis W. and Raymond and wife Sylvia Robertson; two nieces, Danielle Apolinar, Tammi Jimenez, as well as several other nieces and nephews; and dog, Daisy
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin F. Robertson; and niece Nicole Robertson Apolinares.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for family to receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Louis Whitford officiating. Interment will follow the service. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
