Virginia Mae Avey Minghini, 90, Hedgesville, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020.
Born on February 19, 1930 in Jones Spring, Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Canada and Mildred R. Saville Avey.
She was a member of Ganotown United Methodist Church.
She was the owner/operator of Minghini Lumber & Sales.
She is survived by two sons, James D. Minghini and significant other Jody Wolfe, Robert D. Minghini and wife Deena; five grandchildren, James Minghini, Jr. and wife Cathy, Crystal, Chase, Robert, and Jerod Minghini; two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Michael Minghini; two brothers, Guy Avey and Bruce Avey; and one sister, Juanita Avey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Minghini; three brothers, Emmert, Charles, and Jennings Minghini; and two sisters, Geraldine Moricle and Jane Riser.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 1:00PM at Central Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Keith Walsworth.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
